Charles Scott

Charlie Scott joined Armstrong International, Computrol's sister company, in 1979. He held accounting positions with Armstrong in Three Rivers, MI and Milton, FL. In 1987, he joined Computrol as chief financial officer. In 1991, he was appointed president and CEO of Computrol. Under his leadership, Computrol has become a world-class, high-mix, high-quality, contract electronics manufacturer (CEM). During Charlie's tenure, Computrol's electronics manufacturing services (EMS) business has increased to include eight surface mount technology (SMT) lines in two factories and sales revenues have increased 2500 percent. Charlie also serves on the Executive Committee for Armstrong Global Holdings, which is the parent company for Computrol and all other Armstrong Divisions. He holds a degree in Accounting from Western Michigan University.


Jon Hanson

Jon Hanson joined Computrol in 1988. He started by working on the production floor as an operator and a team leader. He joined the Customer Support Team in 1990 and was promoted to Outside Sales in 1992. He then was promoted to Regional Sales Manager in 1995. In 2003, Jon took over as the head of all Sales and Marketing efforts at Computrol. Under Jon's leadership, sales at Computrol have grown at a 16.33 percent CAGR. His well-rounded knowledge of the EMS industry from both the sales and production viewpoints has helped him earn the respect of industry insiders as well as Computrol's customers. Jon also serves on the Executive Management Team at Computrol. He attended Boise State University.

 

Blair Carpender

Blair joined the company in 1987, where he worked part-time in the shipping department while attending BSU. In 1988, he joined the customer support group and then in 1992, he worked with the sales team until he was promoted in 1995 to a regional sales manager. In this position, Blair spent the majority of his time traveling and working with customers and promotional efforts. Promoted to the management team at Computrol in 2005, Blair ran the Post Falls, Idaho plant as operations manager until 2009 when he returned to the headquarters in Meridian where he is now the production manager, overseeing all day-to-day needs of the shop floor and personnel.


Randy Smith

Randy Smith joined Computrol in 1986 as a purchasing agent. In 2006, he was promoted to materials manager. In this position, Randy is responsible for purchasing, shipping, receiving, incoming inspection and stock room areas. Randy also serves on the Executive Management Team.

Randy's previous business management experience was as a planning & development supervisor for Grand Central Stores located in Salt Lake City, UT. He grew up and attended schools in Salt Lake City, UT.

 

Christine Miles

Christine Miles joined Computrol in May 2011. In her position as controller, she is responsible for managing the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions. She also executes the company’s internal and external reporting as well as ensures that these documents comply with all applicable standards and establishes financial policies, procedures and reporting systems in order to maximize Computrol’s return on financial assets.

Christine holds a Bachelor’s degree from Boise State University and has more than 23 years of accounting experience, 19 years of which were spent in a manufacturing environment. Christine also serves on the Executive Management Team.

Charles Scott III is Computrol's general manager for the Orem, UT site and is responsible for ensuring the continued superior performance and growth of Computrol's Utah facility. His experience working in multiple manufacturing environments and in multiple cultures focused on service to the customer gives him the experience necessary to address daily challenges and strengthen the customer service and quality-focused culture that Computrol has in place.

Charlie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of Idaho. He originally joined the company in 2001 and has experience at the company as a manufacturing engineer and an account manager. In 2009, Charlie transferred to Armstrong-Yoshitake, Inc., a division of Computrol's parent company, Armstrong Global Holdings, where he served as the divisional president for two years.


Steve Dillon
Engineering and Manufacturing Manager

As the engineering and manufacturing manager of Computrol's Orem, UT site, Steve oversees and manages the entire manufacturing operation, including engineering and production. He also plans, directs and coordinates the manufacturing of products in accordance with established company goals and objectives in a high-mix manufacturing environment. His focus is to continue enabling customers to realize increased improvements in cycle time, reliability, flexibility and responsiveness.

Steve joined Computrol in 2007 as a process engineer. He is an electrical engineer with more than 14 years experience in the electronics industry and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah.
